Bio
I received a PhD degree in 2001 and an accreditation to supervise research in 2014 from the University of Bordeaux, France. I am currently professor in Statistics at Bordeaux Sciences Agro, an agricultural engineering school. At the same time, I am involved as a researcher within the Signal and Image Group of the IMS laboratory, CNRS. Coordinator of the team MOTIVE (MOdels, Texture, Images, VolumEs), my research interests cover digital image processing and its applications, specifically material characterization and agricultural imagery. My investigations concern in particular texture analysis and synthesis in 2D and 3D images.
