[scientific publication] Bordeaux Sciences Agro supports the Open Access publication

Description

Bordeaux Sciences Agro is proud to support the International Viticulture and Enology Society (IVES), a non-profit association promoting access to knowledge in the fields of grape, vine and wine!

The International Viticulture and Enology Society (IVES) is a non-profit association founded in 2017 in response to scientific publication abuses. “Our objective is to make the results of scientific research in the field of viticulture and enology freely available to researchers and professionals” explained Jean-Philippe Roby researcher at Bordeaux Sciences Agro and director of publication of IVES. To make this possible, IVES is supported by leading universities and research institutes, such as Bordeaux Sciences Agro and by private and institutional partners. “However, even if we are supported by private partners, IVES keeps its editorial independency” said Jean-Phillipe Roby.

IVES publishes three Open Access media: OENO One, a peer-reviewed research journal, IVES Technical Reviews, a peer-reviewed multilingual technical journal and IVES Conference Series, a portal collating contents from major international conferences.

OENO One was launched in 2016, OENO One is a peer-reviewed research journal in the field of vine, grape and wine sciences. “Before publication, manuscripts are evaluated by a qualified editorial board and reviewers, ensuring the quality of the articles” said Cornelis van Leeuwen, editor-in-chief of the journal (for viticulture articles) and professor of viticulture at Bordeaux Sciences Agro.
