Bio
Georgia Lytra holds a Ph.D. from the University of Bordeaux (France) in wine chemistry and sensory analysis, and an enologist graduate degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens.
She is currently the coordinator of a new Bachelor’s degree of viticulture and enology that will open in September 2018 at Bordeaux Sciences Agro.
Her three years of experience to a society of consulting and technical services in viticulture and oenology in Greece as well as her passage through two grand crus classe of Bordeaux region, allowed her to acquire skills throughout the Greek and Frence winemaking process.

Red wine fruity aroma expression and precursors
The research for her PhD thesis, conducted at the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (Université de Bordeaux) and entitled “Importance of perceptive interactions on wine typical fruity aroma”, highlighted the remarkable role of various esters as fruity flavor enhancers.
