Adeline ALONSO UGAGLIA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Management at Bordeaux Sciences Agro. In line with her PhD on an evolutionary approach of pesticide reduction in grape growing, her research focuses on environmental innovations and technical change applied to agriculture, including issues about the drivers of these innovations.
She is interested in economic analyses concerning agro-ecology, organic farming and climate change in a sustainable framework. She is also a expert at the OIV (CI-Enviro).
Her teaching is mainly oriented toward accounting but also sustainable agriculture. Her research in wine economics is wide ranging, including questions related to the economics of the adoption of environmental innovations, in particular pest-management technologies, and issues related to wine markets and players, such as performance of wine cooperatives and firms and modeling the market for bulk wine (prices).
