Holder of an engineering degree from the School of Agronomy in Toulouse (France), I have been working since 2009 in Bordeaux Sciences Agro as an engineer in soil sciences and in the management of geographic databases (GIS), applied to pedology, agronomy and environment. I’ve managed the national soil mapping program, called IGCS (Inventory, Management and Protection of Soil Resources) in the ex-Aquitaine region for 3 departments. Within this framework, I’ve been working toward the production of soil information systems as major decision-making tools for sustainable environmental resources management. All the databases we’ve been using are also the support of my modeling works. I’ve been working on the development of pedotransfer functions for estimating pollutant contents in vineyard soils in Bordeaux area.
