Biography

I received a PhD degree in 1997 and an accreditation to supervise research in 2007 from the University of Bordeaux, France. I am currently a professor at Bordeaux Sciences Agro, an agricultural engineering school. At the same time, I am involved as a researcher within the Signal and Image Group of the IMS laboratory, CNRS within the team MOTIVE (MOdels, Texture, Images, VolumEs). My research interests cover digital image and volume processing and their applications, specifically material characterization and agricultural imagery. I am head of ImAgro, dedicated to technology transfers of image analysis tools for agriculture and forestry.
