In a few words, they describe their backgrounds, experiences and impressions… What is it like to be an international student at Bordeaux Sciences Agro?
Hello, my name is Lydia Kritsotaki, I’m coming from Greece. I’m an Erasmus Plus student and I’m coming for Aristotle University in Thesaloniki. I’m here to study a bachelor about viticulture and enology and I chose this program because Bordeaux is the capital of wine. I love wine and I think everybody loves wine, and even if it’s the same variety still is a different world like you experience different tastes different aromas… it’s always a new experience so I was more interested to see the world of wine and learn about it more.
I’m still studying in Thesaloniki, I’m studying agriculture, so when I’m finishing my studies here I will be back to finish my studies in Greece. Also I’m part of a Pomology lab in my University, I’m volunteering there there I’m doing I’m helping PhD students uh with different experiments that the lab does.
I really like the school, I like that especially in September there are a lot of events where you can meet people. People are really communicative, they communicate with you they’re open to know you. They do a lot of “apéros” which it was my first experience and I really enjoy them. Also France is always a good choice: I mean it’s a beautiful the culture, the environment… I think it was the best choice I could do !
