Forestry Agricultural engineering

Bordeaux Sciences Agro is an agricultural engineering school based in Bordeaux. Many international students come from all over the world, for dual diploma programs, Erasmus+ mobility, the Bachelor Viticulture and Enology or the Master of Science Vineyard and Winery Management… Discover some of them in pictures. In a few words, they describe their backgrounds, experiences and impressions… What’s it like to be an international student at Bordeaux Sciences Agro?

It’s Guilherme, I come from Brazil. I study in Florianòpolis, in the Santa Catarina Federal University. I’m 25 years old.

Before the university, I took a landscape course. There I worked in landscaping, and also in urban forestry, in the Florianòpolis.

Brazil has a partnership with France with universities – the BraFrAgri program – and so we have many cities to come to, many options like Dijon, Clermont-Ferrand, or Bordeaux. I chose Bordeaux because I I liked this city.

It is very quiet and very easy and practical: I live near the school, and near the tramway, it’s possible to go to the city center very quickly. The city is pretty, very different from Brazil. I it’s a great experience!
