“I think it's one of the best programs”

Abraham - Master of Science Vineyard and Vinery Management student

Vine & wine Master of Science

Bordeaux Sciences Agro is an agricultural engineering school based in Bordeaux. Many international students come from all over the world, for dual diploma programs, Erasmus+ mobility, the Bachelor Viticulture and Enology or the Master of Science Vineyard and Winery Management… Discover some of them in pictures. In a few words, they describe their backgrounds, experiences and impressions… What’s it like to be an international student at Bordeaux Sciences Agro?

My name is Abraham, I was born in Paris. Yes, I grew up in Paris, then came back last year to France from Germany where I lived for the last three years.

I studied first medicine for five years and then I took over the management of my family’s Vineyards two years ago, and I’ve been still managing it while doing the masters. Because I think it’s one of the best programs that we get for exactly what I want to do so: winery management.

Bordeaux is a nice city, I just arrived so it’s kind of interesting to move into a new environment, the studies are very interesting, teachers are very interesting. There is a very wide range of people that we have in the class, from all over the world, and it’s a very very nice to have not just students from France, and have a wider range of people to meet and discuss with.
