Bordeaux Sciences Agro is an agricultural engineering school based in Bordeaux. Many international students come from all over the world, for dual diploma programs, Erasmus+ mobility, the Bachelor Viticulture and Enology or the Master of Science Vineyard and Winery Management… Discover some of them in pictures. In a few words, they describe their backgrounds, experiences and impressions… What’s it like to be an international student at Bordeaux Sciences Agro?
I am Rita Brou Catherine Vincent Lafayette, I come from the Ivory Coast, precisely in Yamoussoukro, from the higher school of agronomy called the National Institute Félix Houphouët-Boigny. There, I had already started my engineering cycle in agronomy, and I even did a semester of pre-specialization in agri-food. Now, there I am in Bordeaux Sciences Agro, for my first year. I would say that I choose Bordeaux Sciences Agro because of its pluridimensionality in the different specialties of agronomist engineer, particularly the agri-food industry, because they offer a wide range of opportunities, including CSR training. There is also the Nutrition training in which I am also interested, so I would say that there are lots of things in fact that I could learn here to complete my training that I have already started in Ivory Coast.
Well… I like it because I’ve barely been here for a month and a half, but the integration has been is still is not so bad: in fact, I have already met many students, I already had a little experience with new teachers who are also nice. I would say that the flow goes well in fact, I managed to understand the different courses that are given, I managed to produce good homework. For the time I have been here, I would say that things are going well!
