My name is David, I am from the United States.
I grew up in Indiana and moved to Florida where I sold wine and liquor and beer for about six years, I got my sommelier Certification, I did the Gallow wine and spirit certification, and then moved to Washington State where I studied Enology and Viticulture for two years and now I’m here in Bordeaux ! Oh the school that I was at in Washington state, they had an affiliation with Bordeaux Sciences Agro, and they had sent students here before, and it was something that I thought was fantastic and why not continue my education in Bordeaux.
So far, really well, I’m enjoying it a lot this is my first time in Europe – period – so really very much having a good time, and the classes are going fantastic. I’ve already done my internship at Chateau Phélan Ségur, everything very good!
