Agro ICT (Information and Communication Technologies for Agronomy and the Environment)

Information and Communication Technologies for Agronomy and the Environment

Description

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are central to companies’ innovation, growth and sustainability strategies. New ranges of tools now allow optimised information gathering and processing: geographic information systems, remote sensing, databases, measurement and instrumentation systems, production management software, etc.

The Agro ICT specialisation gives agronomy students these ITC skills applied to agronomy, agrifood and the environment. In doing so, it meets the needs of the private and public sectors by training engineers with dual expertise: skilled in their professional fields and able to diagnose information systems and design and implement innovative solutions.
